DIY Pin Cushion

I recently moved my craft room upstairs to the playroom and moved the playroom to the basement.  It was quite the job but it's so nice to not have to wear a coat, a hat, and gloves while crafting.  Our basement is not finished and it is so cold.  Now the kids get their coats and boots on and head downstairs to play.  Haha.  I'm kidding.  They don't care at all.

Now I am redoing a few things and trying to get the room just the way I want it while making it kid friendly (my girls love to craft, too).  One of my projects is my pin cushion.  It seems like such a small thing but it adds so much to the room.  I wanted to buy a kit from Craftaholics Anonymous but they were sold out.  While I was shopping at Poppy Seed Projects I found the cutest little frames that worked perfect.  So here is my version using her tutorial.
I made one for me and gave the other two away.
My frame didn't come with a way to hold a picture so I made my own out of cardstock and used my glue gun.  It worked great.
If the kit ever comes available it is cheaper to by the kit rather than trying to make them on your own!
