Mrs. Smith's Deep Dish Pies

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Mrs. Smith's for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
When I was first asked to try some pies and then blog about them my first thought was that I don't care much for pie and would rather have a bowl of ice cream, but my husband loves pie so why not have him review it?  So, I'm turing this post over to him!

Have you tried Mrs. Smith's Signature Deep Dish pies?  Well, if you haven't you should.  I was a little skeptical about how the frozen pies would taste compared to a fresh pie, but was pleasantly surprised with them.  Each was very good and I thought they were comparable to homemade pies.  I expected them to be a little mushy or to taste like they had been frozen.  They baked very well {thanks to Staci} and were very easy to prepare.  All you do is preheat your oven to 350, remove the frozen pie from the box and the the plastic covering from the pie, place it in the oven on a cookie sheet, and 65-75 minutes later, voila, you're eating a delicious pie that tastes just like it is homemade.  The crusts were nice and flaky and the pies themselves were moist with good flavor.  We tried all of them {dutch apple, cherry, peach, and pumpkin} but the pumpkin was my favorite, especially covered with whipped cream {pumpkin pie with whipped cream is my all time favorite pie}.
