ID Bracelet

Thanks to this little handmade bracelet {with our phone number on it}

Little M was found last Friday night {keep in mind we were are on vacation} after dinner.

We had some extra time after dinner so we headed back to the arcade.  The kids love it.  Burk and E headed over to redeem their tickets and little M followed. When they returned she was not with them.  We started to panic.  This is our kid who thinks it is so funny to hide from us all the time but this time was different.  It felt different.  I knew she was lost and not just hiding.  The arcade was crazy busy. We searched and searched {for what seemed like forever} and all of a sudden my phone started ringing. I immediately answered it and and asked, "do you have my little girl?"  The lady on the other end said, "YES!"  I was so relieved to know that she was ok.  I ran right outside to meet her and found M so scared and bawling.  I was panicking and a nervous wreck so when I saw her I burst into tears.  It scared me so bad.  This could have ended much differently.  I can't even think about that.  I will be ever so grateful for the kind lady who found our little girl, and Little M for being so brave in showing the lady her bracelet.

*We talked about this many times before our vacation so if she did get lost, she would know to show someone her bracelet. 

*I originally made this for Disneyland but I think we will wear our "pretty bracelet" any time we go out and about or until she can memorize our phone number!
